Day 01: Bangalore
Arrive at Bangalore airport met and get greeted and assisted by our
airport counter
staff, Board the cab and get escorted to Bangalore
hotel. An air-conditioned city, the Garden City, the Silicon Valley
of India the fastest developing city in the world these are some of
the attributes used to describe this beautiful city. Bangalore
regarded as one India’s most progressive and liberal cities. In
afternoon visit the major tourist attraction like The Bull Temple, Kempe Gowda Fort, Tipu’s Summer Palace, Bangalore Palace, Lalbagh
Botanical Gardens, Cubbon Park, The Government Museum, The
Visvesvaraya Technological and Industrial Museum, Vidhan Soudha,
Ulsoor Lake, Karnataka Folk Museum, Jawahar BAL Bhavan, Bugle Rock,
Jawahar Nehru Planetarium, Musical Fountain, Thavakkal Mastan Saab
Dargah, Thavakkal Mastan Saab Dargah . Rest of the evening you can
shop and explore the leisurely hours.
Day 02: Bangalore -Mysore
After morning breakfast drive to Mysore. Check in, in the hotel.
Majestic 770 mts. above sea level and 140 kms from Bangalore Mysore
is the second largest city in the state of Karnataka. This former
capital of the princely state was once the capital of the Wodeyars.
Situated in the southern part of the Deccan Plateau Mysore District
is an undulating tableland covered in parts by verdant forests.

The Maharaja’s Residence, Chamundi Hill, St. Philomena’s Church,
Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo, Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Art

Sanctuary, Kabhi River Lodge. Evening get back to the resort enjoy

Day 03: Mysore - Ooty
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed for Ooty. On reaching Ooty,
check in a resort. Called the "Queen of the hills stations",
picturesque, Udhagamandalam, better known as Ooty is the most
popular hill station in the south. Along with Kotagiri and Coonoor
nearby, Ooty is famous for its rolling hills covered in pine and
eucalyptus forests and its coffee and tea plantations. It is endowed
with extraordinary scenic beauty and is one of the best known hill
resorts of India. Relish the best home made chocolates from Ooty.
Get back to the resort and enjoy the exotic food and pamper yourself
with a good night sleep.
Day 04: Ooty
Morning after breakfast proceed to explore the Ooty. Get ready for
the whole day enchanting tour of Ooty, Visit the major tourist
attraction like Botanical Gardens, Lake, Government Museum, The
Mukurthi Peak & Mukurthi National Park, Pykaras, Glenmorgan, Upper
Bhavani, Avalanche, Doddabetta, Trekking, Hang Gliding, Angling, St.
Stephen’s Church, Raj Bhavan, Stone House and Kandal Cross. Back to
the resort, enjoy mouth watering food and pamper yourself with a
good night sleep.
Day 05:Ooty-Kodaikkanal
Morning after breakfast at hotel, drive to Kodaikkanal. On reaching
Kodaikkanal, check in a resort. One of the most romantic hill
stations in the south, Kodaikkanal is located at an altitude of
about 2133 mts. On the southern tip of upper Palani hills in the
western Ghats. British administrators first surveyed these hills in
1821. Kodaikkanal-better known as Kodi, about 120 kms from the
bustling city of Madurai, is surrounded by wooded slopes, waterfalls
and precipitous rocky outcrops. Spent a day gearing up yourself for
the upcoming day, relax at our resort and unwind your day with our
hospitality.
Day 06: Kodaikkanal
Morning after breakfast proceed to explore the beautiful and
enchanting Kodaikkanal. Major tourist attraction are Parks and
Waterfalls there are lots of park like Chettiar Park and water fall
around Kodaikkanal, visit the Astrophysical Laboratory, Flora and
Fauna Museum and Kodaikanal Lake. Evening check in the resort enjoy
the exotic food and culture of Tamil Nadu.
Day 08: Kodaikanal - Munnar
After morning breakfast drive to Munnar. Reach Munnar; check in
resort and head for a full day local tour of Munnar. Munnar is a
beautiful peaceful hill station covered with unending expanse of tea
plantation. Munnar is 120km away from Cochin with an altitude
ranging from 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level. Set amid dramatic
mountain scenery in what was once known as the High Range of
Travancore the hill town of Munnar is the commercial centre of some
of the world’s highest tea-growing estates. The combination of the
craggy peaks manicured tea estates and crisp mountain air makes
Munnar an ideal retreat. Major attractions of Munnar are Top Staion,
Sandalwood Forest (Eravikulam National Park), Mattupetty, Rajamala,
Marayoor, Devikulam, Peerumedu, Trekking at Kalthotti Karandakapara
Hills, Peeru Hills, and Kalthotti Karandakapara Hills. Get back to
the hotel and enjoy a good night sleep.
Day 09:Munnar - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast at hotel, drive to Thekkady. Check in the
hotel. Get geared up to explore Thekkady. Periyar is south India’s
most popular wildlife sanctuary. Also one of the world’s most
fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries Thekkady is noted for its
wildlife and scenic beauty. The Periyar Tiger Reserve attracts
travellers from all over the world. It encompasses 777 sq, km with a
26 sq. km artificial lake formed by the Idukki Dam across the
Periyar River created by the British in 1895.The lake offers boating
facilities. It is the home to bison, antelopes, sambar, wild boar,
langur, some 750 elephants and an estimated 35 tigers.
Day 10: Thekkady - Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Kumarakom. Kumarakom Back
water is called as jewels of Kerala it’s an encatching back water
destination in the map of Kerala. Kumarakom situated on the Vembanad
lake in this small water world were you will come across plenty of
Traditional country crafts boats and canoes which will take you into
the heart of the scenic lake. On arrival at Kumarakom check in the
Back water resort later proceed for a local tour of Kumarakom, visit
the Vembanad Lake Kumarakom, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Houseboat
Cruises, Pilgrim Centres like Sabarimala, Mannanam, Vaikom,
Ettumanoor, Bharananganam, Erumeli, Manarcad, Aruvithura and
Athirampuzha and temple of Perunna Vazhapali and Thikkodithanam near
Changanacherry, Thirunakkara Mahadevar Temple, Cheriappally,

Day 11: Kumarakom - Cochin
Morning after breakfast check out house boat. Board the cab and head
towards Cochin. Cochin is the commercial and industrial capital of
Kerala and it is also called as Kochi, Queen of the Arabian Sea.
Informally, this district is located on the coast of the Arabian Sea
with Kottayam and Alappuzha district on the south Idukki on the east
and Thissur on the north. With its health of historical associates
and its setting on a cluster of islands and narrow peninsulas the
city of Kochi perfectly reflects the eclecticism of Kerala. Get
geared up and proceed for a local tour of Cochin. The major tourist
attraction are The Cherai Beach, The Fort Kochi Beach, Thattekkad
Bird Sanctuary, Athirapally, Vazhachal, The Lakshadweep Islands,
Vypeen Island, Bolghatty Island, Bolghatty Palace , The Hill Palace
Museum Thripunithura, Chennamangalam, houses the oldest synagogue in
Kerala , Chinese Fishing Nets , Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Baslica
, Wallington Island , Ernakulam, Jew Town and St.Francis Church.
Evening, free for shopping, unwind your day with a good night sleep
Day 12: Cochin - Alleppey
Morning after breakfast check out and head towards Alleppey. With
the Arabian Sea on the west and a vast network of lakes lagoons and
fresh water rivers criss-crossing it Alleppey is a district of
immense natural beauty. This is a major centre for backwater cruises
and also the states coir industry and cashew nuts. A large network
of canals passes through the town and there is a long sandy beach.
The major attractions are Backwater like Kuttanad, Pathiramanal,
savor Backwater Cruises, enjoy the cool breeze of Alappuzha Beach
and explore the pilgrim like Ambalappuzha, Mannarasala,
Chettikulangara Bhagavathy Temple Mavelikkara and Krishnapuram
Palace. Enjoy the over night stay at Alleppey.
Day 13: Alleppey - Kovalam
Morning after breakfast at hotel get ready and proceed to Kovalam.
Reach Kovalam and check in the beach resort. Kovalam is 16 kms from
Thiruvananthapuram. This internationally renowned beach resort has
been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. Kovalam consists
of three adjacent crescent beaches. There are four main stretches of
beach each about 400 mts long with a rocky promontory. The southern
beaches are much more populated, Lighthouse Beach is a long line of
shops. Kovalam offers accommodation options to suit all budgets.
Enjoy the Ayurvedic massage and yoga centers. Evening get back to
the resort and enjoy the good sleep after a good massage.
Day 14: Kovalam
Morning after breakfast head for a half day local tour of Kovalam
evening free to explore the god’s own county. Take an Ayurvedic
massage on the beach shore and enjoy the seafood, fruit and toddy
(coconut beer). Stay overnight at Kovalam.
Day 15: Kovalam - Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast geared up and head towards the beautiful
Kanyakumari. Reach Kanyakumari and check in the hotel. Then proceed
for a full day tour of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is associated with
goddess Kumari the virgin, Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin). Kanyakumari
has become a busy pilgrimage centre dedicated to the goddess Devi
Kanya an incarnation of Parvathi this land has great spiritual
significance for hindus. Major tourist attractions are Cape Comorin,
Kumari Amman Temple, Gandhi (Memorial) Mandapam, Vivekananda
Memorial, Guganathaswami Temple, Government Museum, Olakkay Aruvi
(Waterfalls), Kumarak Koil, Gulf of Mannar Marine National Park.
Evening get back to the resort and take the rest for the day.
Day 16: Kanyakumari - Madurai
Morning after breakfast check out and get geared up for a lovely
ride to Madurai. Madurai is more than 2500 years old and was an
important cultural and commercial centre during 550 AD. The capital
of the pandyas, this ancient city is said to have been blessed by
maduram (nectar) from lord Siva’s locks. The cholas and the Nayakas
briefly ruled the city whose promotion of art and architecture still
reflect their glorious era. Becharmed by the glorious Sri Meenakshi
Sundareshwar Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal, Mariamman Teppakulam
Tank, Museums. Get back to the resort and pamper your self with a
good night sleep.
Day 17: Madurai - Trichy
Morning after breakfast at hotel drive to Trichy. Tiruchchirappalli,
strategically situated at the head of the fertile kaveri delta this
city was sought after by all the Dravidian rulers-cholas, pandyas
and pallavas. Its long history goes back to before the Christian era
when it was a Chola citadel. Tiruchchirappalli, fourth largest city
of Tamil Nadu teems with temples and monuments and is an important
tourist center of the State. Major tourist attractions are Sri
Ranganathaswamy Temple, Jambukeswara Temple, St John’s Church, Rock
Fort, Vayalur, Thiru Erumbur and Thiruvellarai, in the evening take
the rest for the day in the Resort.
Day 18: Trichy - Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast proceed to explore the Famous Indian -
French land "Pondicherry". Peaceful Pondicherry, an unusual blend of
occident and orient is referred by various exotic epithets like, the
‘Quintessence of French Culture, India’s “Little France” and the
“French Riviera” of the East etc. Get ready for the whole day
enchanting tour of Pondicherry visit the famous
Sri Aurobindo
Ashrama, Pondicherry has been greatly influenced by Sri Aurobindo
the great seer, prophet and poet of twentieth century. Explore the
famous 16 centaury Greco-Roman architectural Aayi Mandapam, pay
homage to the martyr of first word war at French war memorial, see
the Dupleix statue, 19th centaury light house, Pondicherry museum
and library French institute of Indology, Botanical garden, serenity
beach, Church of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Explore Auroville
village, see the famous Mantri Mandir, grab some fresh air in Auro
beach and many more. Back to the resort; pamper yourself by a good
sleep.
Day 19: Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast head for a half day local tour of
Pondicherry. evening free to explore Pondicherry.
Day 20: Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram
Morning after breakfast at hotel proceed to Mahabalipuram. Once a
flourishing port of the pallavas of ancient India, this monument
centre is today a major beach resort holiday centre in south India.
Still popularly called Mahabalipuram, this historic coastal temple
town is now known as Mamallapuram after ‘Mamalla’ (great wrestler).
Major attractions are the famous Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance,
Caves, Five Rathas, Thirukkalukundram and Tiger Cave. Evening check
in the resort enjoy the exotic Tamil Nadu food and warm hospitality
of the staff.
Day 21: Mahabalipuram - Chennai
Morning after breakfast get escorted to Chennai Airport to board the
flight for onward destination. |
