Places to Visit: Delhi-Corbett National Park

Day 01: Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Airport met and get assisted by our airport counter
staff, Board the cab and get escorted to a hotel at Delhi. Check in
the hotel. Rest of the day is for the local tour of Delhi. Delhi is
the capital of India. Delhi was ruled by different dynasty in
different times. Successive dynasties have left their imprint in the
form or relics, forts, palaces and other monuments in old Delhi.
Visit places such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Humayun’s
Tomb. Evening Return back to hotel. Enjoy the Punjabi cuisines and
hospitality. Have a good night sleep.
Day 02: Delhi - Corbett National Park
After breakfast at the hotel drive further to Corbett National Park
where you will visit the popular Tiger Reserve famous for its tiger
population. Pay a visit to the pond. Get back to the resort enjoy
rich local food and culture and pamper yourself with a good night
sleep for a hectic day ahead.
Day 03:Corbett National Park
After breakfast at the resort drive jeep safari. This park is
located in the foothills of the Shivalik range. It is named after
the famous hunter, author, conservationist and naturalist Jim
Corbett who spent a major part of his life in the Kumaon region.
Under the Project Tiger it has now been made a Tiger Reserve. The
park abounds in Tiger, Panther, Bear, Gharial, Crocodile, Swamp
Deer, Cheetal, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Porcupine, Python, Boar,
Hyena, Rhesus Monkey, and a large variety of birds. Get back to the
hotel enjoy steaming dinner and pamper yourself with a good night
sleep.
Day 04: Corbett National Park – Ranthambhore
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Ranthambhore, Ranthambhore
National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s
conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The 392 sq. km park comprises of
dry deciduous forests sprawling over an undulating terrain of the
Aravalli and Vindhyan ranges with lodges and water holes The Park is
one of the finest tiger reserves in the country under the project
Tiger. The park had a total of 42 tigers (32 adults and 10 cubs).
The park itself covers some 1334 sq. km a system of lakes and rivers
is hemmed in by steep, high crags and on top of one of these is the
Ranthambhore Fort, built in the 10th century. Reach Ranthambhore and
take rest for the night.
Day 05: Ranthambhore
After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to the famous
Ranthambhore Jungle. See and picture the king of jungle at close
proximity and enjoy the scenic beauty of jungle. Enjoy the safari
through out the day. Get back to the hotel and enjoy a peaceful
sleep in lap of Mother Nature.
Day 06:Ranthambhore - Bharatpur
After breakfast continuing the North East India wildlife tour we
move on to Bharatpur. Visit the Keoladeo Ghana National Park known
for its 300 indigenous bird species. Afternoon enjoy a jeep safari.
Evening, a short walk to the Jungle. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07:Bharatpur – Agra
After Breakfast proceed to Agra. It will take around 6 hrs to reach
Agra. Agra stands on the right bank of the river Yamuna. Agra
witnessed a remarkable spate of architectural activity as each
monarch tried to outdo the grandiose monuments built by his
predecessor. The Mughals besides being great rulers were also great
builders and they preserved their best architectural wonders for
Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the
World the Taj Mahal, the symbol of love. Reach Agra check in the
hotel and restore your energy with a good night sleep.
Day 08:Agra – Umaria (Bandhavgarh)
Afterbreak fast proceed for full day excursion of Agra. Visit one of
the seven wonders of world “Taj Mahal”, the symbol of love. The
major attractions are The Great Fort of Agra, The Tomb of
Itemad-ud-Daula, Akbar’s Tomb, Sikandra, Radhaswamy Samadhi,
Dayalbagh, Jama Masjid, Mariyam’s Tomb, Shaheed Smarak (Martyrs’
Memorial). Get back to the hotel and enjoy a good night sleep.
Day 09: Agra – Umaria (Bandhavgarh)
After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh. The Bandhavgarh National Park
nestled in the Vindhya mountain ranges.The archaeological remains of
the Kalchuri period are an added attraction here. Reach Bandhavgarh
check in the hotel and take the day off and rest to gear up for the
next day.
Day 10: Bandhavgarh
After breakfast proceed for the excursion of the Bandhavgarh jungle.
Explore the jungle in a safari. Come in close proximity of Tiger,
Wild Bear, Spotted Deer, Samba, Barking Deer and Bison. Get
enchanted by the wildlife beauty. You can enjoy elephant, jeep and
bus safari. Get back to the hotel and enjoy a good night sleep at
the hotel.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh – Kanha
After breakfast drive to Kanha, Check in the hotel. Kanha has huge
collection of Porcupine, many Gray Langur, Mongoose, Hyena, Jungle
Cat, even a Leopard, tiger, Rare Barasingha, the Swamp Deer. One of
the most famous wildlife sanctuary of India, it has lot more caliber
of offering you wild adventure and thrills. Over night stay at the
resort.
Day 12: Kanha
After breakfast at the hotel head to explore the famous wildlife
sanctuary. Spotting wild animals is always a matter of luck but
Kanha is so rich in wildlife that the odds are titled in your favour.
First time visitors are often so keen to spot the larger animals
that they overlook the smaller ones. There are 175 varieties of
birds in Kanha. So if you happen to be bird watcher, look forward to
a full bird show. Most people are keener to meet Kanha's major
attraction, the Tiger; still one has to be patient to spot one.Enjoy
the day in jeep safari. Gear up with a good night sleep to explore
more.
Day 13: Kanha – Nagpur
After breakfast head towards Nagpur. Check in the hotel and take the
rest for the day in the hotel.
Day 14: Nagpur – Delhi
Morning after breakfast head on for an exciting day. Places of
attraction in the New Delhi area are Rashtrapati Bhavan,
Secretariat, the Parliament House, Cathedral Church, The Roman
Catholic Church, Teen Murti House (Nehru Museum). The Rail Transport
Museum, Indira Gandhi Museum. Some of the important places to visit
in Old Delhi are the Jama Masjid, Sisgang Gurdwara, Sonehri Masjid,
and Town Hall, Fatehpur mosque, Spices market, Digambar Jain temple
and the Charity Bird Hospital. Evening Return back to hotel. Enjoy
the Punjabi cuisines and hospitality. Have a good night sleep.
Day 15:Delhi
Morning after breakfast have a day off and treasure the memory of
your stay, at afternoon get escorted to Delhi Airport to board the
flight for onward destination. |
