Day 01 Bagdogra – Darjeeling:
On arrival at the Bagdogra Airport, meet our tour representative who
will escort you to the cab to drive towards Darjeeling. Darjeeling
is one of the famous hill stations in West Bengal. It is also called
as the Queen of hill-stations. It is internationally known for its
tea industry. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway connecting the town
with the plains was declared a World Heritage Site. On reaching
Darjeeling check in hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 02 Darjeeling:
Morning after breakfast drive out for a local tour. Visit the
interesting places like - Tiger Hill – the highest point in the area
which provides the view of Kanchenjunga peaks, one can also view the
sunrise from this place, Dhoom Gompa, Batasia Loop, Happy Valley
Estate, Natural History Museum, Senchal Lake, Tea Gardens, Japanese
Peace Pagoda, Ava Art Gallery and so on. Later in the evening return
back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03 Darjeeling – Gangtok:
After breakfast drive towards Gangtok which is the capital and the
largest town of Sikkim which is situated in the lower Himalayas.
Until the construction of Enchey Monastery Gangtok was a small
hamlet, its only now it is been made as one of the pilgrimage
centre. Gangtok generally means ‘lofty hills’, it is also the centre
of the Tibiten Buddhist culture. On reaching Gangtok check in hotel
and relax for the rest of the day at the hotel.
Day 04 Gangtok:
Morning after breakfast drive out for the local tour of Gangtok.
Visit the interesting places like Rumtek Gompa it’s a rich Tibetan
monastery, Tsongo or Changu Lake. Also involve yourself in the
adventurous sports like trekking, white-water rafting, hang gliding,
yak safari, and mountain biking. Late in the evening drive back to
the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 Gangtok – Bagdogra- Bhubaneswar:
Morning after breakfast drive towards Bagdogra to board the flight
to Bhubaneswar. It is popularly known as ‘The Temple City’ which is
located on the eastern coast of India. It was earlier the capital of
the ancient Kalinga however is now the capital of Orissa. The
striking features of the city are the numerous temples and shrines.
Bhubaneswar is dominated by some of the most spectacular engineering
and artistic feats of its ancient heritage like The imposing spire
of the Lingaraj Temple, the quiet beauty of the Vishwa Shanti Stupa
and the pink translucence of the Mahavira Jain Temple in nearby
Khandagi. On reaching Bhubaneswar check in hotel and spend the rest
of the at leisure.
Day 06 Bhubaneswar:
Morning after breakfast drive out for the local tour. Visit the
interesting places like Khandagiri & Udayagiri – Jain Temples,
Lingaraj Temple, Dhauli Giri, State Museum & Planetarium, Nandan
Kanan, Lingaraj Temple, Vishwa Shanti Stupa and so on. Late in the
evening return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 07 Bhubaneswar – Puri:
Morning after breakfast move towards Puri – one of the oldest cities
in the eastern part of the country. It is well known for the
Jagannath Temple which was built in the late 11th century. The
annual Ratha Yatra also called as the Festival of Chariots which is
very famous here. It is famous for the beautiful sea beach, a
gateway to the famous sun temple at Konark. As per the Hindu
mythology this place is also considered as the gate way to the
Heaven. On reaching Puri check in hotel and relax for the rest of
the day.
Day 08 Puri:
Morning after breakfast drive out for the local tour of this
beautiful city. Visit the famous Jagannath Temple - the temple was
built by King Indradyumna, Gundicha Temple, Puri Beach, Temple of
Child Krishna at Indradyumna Tank, Swargadwa – a place along the
seashore which is considered to be sacred. Also visit Jagannath
Ballav Math, Chaturdham Veda Bhawan, Bedi Mahavir and so on. Later
on return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 09 Puri – Konark - Puri
Morning after breakfast drive out for a day’s excursion to Konark
also known as Konaditya or Arkakshetra. It is very well known for
the Sun Temple which is dedicated to the sun god. The temple was
built by the Ganga King Narasimha Deva, the temple is also referred
as the Black Pagoda. The Konark temple is widely known not only for
its architectural grandeur but also for the intricacy and profusion
of sculptural work. The entire temple has been conceived as a
chariot of the sun god with 24 wheels. Spend the entire day in this
beautiful place and later in the evening drive back to the hotel for
an overnight stay.
Day 10 Puri - Bhubaneswar:
Morning after breakfast drive towards Bhubaneswar airport to board
your flight to the onwards destination. |
